Chesapeake memories.

September 12–14 brought us to Breezy Point Campground in Chesapeake Beach, Maryland. We paddled out to reach stretches of beach where we could look for shark’s teeth, fished off the pier, and brought our finds back to camp.

These are a few of the moments we brought home.

We were given a stingray and decided to try filleting it for dinner. We tried. We failed. It made a better story than a meal.

🌊 Breezy Point Campground Trip

Chesapeake Beach, MD — September 12–14, 2025
We’ve requested Site 45 for the DeHavens (reservation pending). ✅ Site 46 is still open if someone wants to grab it. Our group will mainly be around sites 40–47, with sites 22 & 23 directly behind 45.

💵 Costs (No Camper)

  • Weekend Rate: $80/night (non-resident)
  • Total for 2 Nights: $160
  • Refundable Key Deposit: $20 (cash)
  • Estimated Total: $180

📋 Campground Rules (Highlights)

  • Check-in: 3:00–7:00 PM | Check-out: by 12:00 PM
  • Quiet hours: 10:00 PM–7:00 AM
  • Vehicles: 1 at your site + 1 in overflow (max 2)
  • Pets: Allowed on campground side only; leashed & cleaned up after
  • Alcohol: Allowed at campsites (no glass)
  • No smoking/vaping anywhere in the park
  • Swim at your own risk (designated areas only)
