The photos

One shared album for everyone’s shots from Pine Grove Furnace, the midpoint sign, Toms Run, and the Faire. Add yours whenever you get home to real signal.

How to add yours

  1. Open the album link on your phone. It opens in your browser — there is no app to install and nothing to log into.
  2. Tap the upload button and pick the photos and videos you want to share. You can select a lot at once.
  3. Let it finish before you close the tab. Big video files take a minute on a slow connection.
  4. That is it. Everyone with the link sees them.

Do this at home, not at camp. Cell coverage at Toms Run is limited and unreliable, and uploading a weekend of photos over one bar is a good way to end Sunday with a dead phone and nothing uploaded. Take the pictures, enjoy the weekend, upload from your couch.

Originals are kept. The album stores what your camera actually recorded, at full resolution — no squashing, no re-compression, unlike a group text. Videos are fine too.

The link is for us. Anyone who has it can add to the album and download from it, so please keep it inside the group rather than posting it anywhere public. If it ever gets out, tell me and I will rotate it — that takes about ten seconds and everybody just needs the new link.

What happens after the trip

I will go through the album and build a proper photo journal on this page, the way the Breezy Point 2025 trip turned out — chaptered, full width, with the good ones large. The shared album stays up either way, so nothing you add gets lost when that lands.

If you have a shot you particularly want in the write-up, say so on the trip board and I will make sure it makes the cut.
